Product Description
This restaurant bar top (c. 15m long in total) was designed in collaboration with the restaurant owner in Hayle Cornwall. The bar is adjacent to the amazing beach between Hayle Rivermouth and Godrevy and we wanted to evoke that beautiful natural environment where the dunes meet the sea. We shaped birch ply to create the seabed contours and a blue tinted epoxy resin was then added to evoke the almost Caribbean like blueness of a summer day here. The top was finished in a specialist clear hardwearing bar-top epoxy to give it a long life. What a unique way to celebrate the individual beauty of this very special local environment.
