This version of Mark’s Scilly piece is carved from high quality Birch Ply. The contours of the islands is revealed in the Birch Ply layers giving the effect of a topographical map. It also attracts the light and gives off an almost iridescent glow, for reasons we don’t quite understand! This example measures 370mm x 370mm but this can be increased to 900 x 600mm.
