This is the place we call home. Over two miles of glorious Cornish beach, but in this piece I have focused on the southern end of the beach at Droskyn Point where we live. The cliffs, stacks, caves and mine workings are spectacular. On its day, the waves are peaky and can bowl up into challenging wedges as the swell refracts from the cliffs. Careful to avoid the cliffs and Chapel rock. I you have surfed here, or spent happy days on the beach with the kids and dogs, I hope this brings back great memories every time you look at it.
