Blue Hole Coffee Table

Product Description

The “Blue Hole” coffee table was designed and crafted to evoke the beauty of the natural wonders of the ocean that are blue holes. Fine examples can be found in Belize and the Bahamas. This piece evokes the warmth and clarity of the shallow water and sand, with the contours revealing the rapid passage to the “abyssal” depth of the blue hole itself. The table top is carved top and bottom from 150mm thick birch ply. The legs are Maple and the “ocean” is tinted epoxy resin. This example is 850 x 550mm on plan, 450mm high.
