This is Mark’s second album and contains 13 original guitar instrumental compositions; 9 are electric guitar based and three are acoustic guitar instrumentals. It really is a collaboration between Mark Richards and friends – many legends from the Cornish music scene. It’s cinematic in landscape and features laid back styling, great electric and acoustic guitar tones and tasty phrasing accumulated over a lifetime of loving music and guitar. For lovers of Larry Carlton, Ry Cooder, Robben Ford, Lowell George, Earl Klugh, Clive Carroll, Bert Jansch – you get the picture.
Coast to Coast was written and recorded at Marks’ studio at Droskyn Point in Perranporth. Tracks were mixed by Mark and Mark Clements (Level 42, Imelda May and many others).
