We all know the Scilly Isles are beautiful. Mark has a particular attachment to them, after participating in the Scilly Swim Challenge over the last few years, then swimming from lands End to St. Mary’s in 2019.

This is an inspiring 15Km swim between the five main islands and a walk across each of them; a real challenge that inspired Mark to swim around the whole of Cornwall, which he successfully completed in 2018. In this piece he has tried to capture the clarity and the colour of the water and evoke how it feels to swim between the islands. This example is made of Ash and epoxy resin. It measures 430mm x 430mm.
