Porthleven is the archetypal Cornish Fishing village, now a community thriving with art galleries, restaurants in addition to fishing and the tourism drawn to this spectacular place. Most tourist however, aren’t aware that one of Europe’s finest surfing waves breaks on the reef just outside the harbour. When swell, wind and tide combine correctly, this is one of the great wonders of surfing. This table was commissioned to capture the essence of the village and its amazing wave.
